This Part Two of my paper bag album series. It has a family theme and it’s the first paper bag album I’ve made that hasn’t gone into the trash! For a twist on the classic paper bag album, I bound the bags vertically and used them as envelopes for really huge tags. There is tons of space in this album for photos, journaling and memorabilia.

I know what you mean! I used to “save” stuff for … who knows? A special occasion? And then I realized that sall these supplies will look much better in an album & so I just started to play! Thanks for watching & I’m glad you enjoyed it!

The one thing I really get to learn from your videos is to not be so “stingy” with my supplies! I have sooooooo much stuff, yet I’m always trying to save for who knows what…kwim? i need to use up my supplies…layer and layer like I want to :) Add that adhesive like I’m suppose to…TFS

In video one, I add the fifth bag at about 1:50 into the video, if you want to jump right to that part in the video — this is the way you add all bags after the first two. I hope this helps!

  10. desdichaedo says:

In the video, I use the folded cardstock piece to connect the first bag to the second bag. Then I cut to myself adding the fifth bag. The way that I add the fifth bag is the way that I added bags three and four as well.

  11. desdichaedo says:

Take another piece of folded cardstock and cover it with adhesive — just like you did with the first piece of cardstock. Attach the left side of the folded cardstock piece to the right side of the paper bags and fold the cardstock closed.

There should now be adhesive facing up. Take your third bag & lay it on top of the other two bags, pressing it into the glue on the cardstock strip. This will make another “hinge” just like the first one.

  12. desdichaedo says:

After the two bags are attached, fold them together (like closing a book). Place them on your work surface with the openings of the bags at the top & the cardstock “hinge” on the right.

  13. jlsnydes says:

after the two bags are attached, where does the third bag attach? I’m a little slow on this one…

  14. desdichaedo says:

If you look at the first video in the paper bag series, you will see how I attached the paper bags to each other. I basically took two inch wide strips of paper and folded them down the middle, then I glues one paper bag to one side of the strip and another paper bag to the other side of the strip. Then I just used paper strips to attach one bag at a time after that. The way that I attached the final bag in part one is how I attached every bag. Does that make sense? I hope so!

  15. jlsnydes says:

inspiring as always. i couldn’t figure out how to attach the pages together. so i gave up!

  16. desdichaedo says:

Thank you — I’m so glad you enjoyed it!

I like the way you did the pages, very nicely done:)

  18. desdichaedo says:

No, I didn’t, although it could be finished in one day. It took me longer because I spent a great deal of time figuring things out that I wouldn’t have had to do if I had made one of these before.

  19. ajballetslippers150 says:

did you finnish the project in 1 day?
