Should I Ask The Scrapbook Stores If They Have Leftover Scrapbook Materials That I Can Use?

Do you think they will like give it to me for free? I’m making this business plan (about scrap booking stores) for school and I want to make a logo by using leftover scrapbook materials. And I’m a bit shy asking it to them. Please help.

In this economy, absolutely! The worst that can happen is they’ll say no. But if they’re just going to throw it away, I don’t see why they wouldn’t let you have it. Just be charming and it’s yours :) Good luck!!

Give them your sales pitch of what you intend to do with the scrapbook materials and I am sure they would be willingly to help especially if you mention that you would recommend their store and also will always pass customers their way. The only harm they can say is No, and then don’t leave it there,- place an advert or put up posters requesting scrapbook leftovers and you would be surprised at how many people will help out. Good luck!

I’m not sure if they will, but you could try and ask.
Many businesses seem to have cut back on getting ‘free stuff’ even for very good causes. You may have more luck asking a craft group or do you know any scrapbooking mums? They may be more likely to have some materials that they could give you to use on your project.

It doesn’t hurt to ask. Just explain to them what you are doing and I bet they will be glad to help. Good Luck.
